It's true! Rick and I went to the movies for our night out and saw "Horton and The Who". We picked a time when the theater would be less crowded, the 5:15 p.m. show, got seats right in the middle with a railing so we could hike up our feet and settled in with our miniature bag of popcorn...we hadn't had dinner yet. It was wonderful. I think the voice of the Mayor of Who, Steve Carrele (sp), was well done. I particularly liked the way he was drawn; his fur looked real! And there is a buzzard that has wings that are so believable you can feel the breeze when he swoops.
Afterward we went to see Grandma Whittaker. Our stay was brief because she was getting tired and wanted to get ready for bed. She had actually gotten up and dressed before anyone came in to help her that morning. She was excited to hear she was going to be moving closer to home, and then she quietly leaned over to Rick and asked him where home was. Oh, my. When he explained it was the condo she lived in on 45th she seemed a bit confused but glad to be leaving where she was.
Easter is getting close and we are looking forward to spring weather, Peeps, and lots of chocolate.

We are going to see this movie tonight at the Tower View Theater. It is not very often that a movie we want to see ends up being shown at a time when we are both able to go. We could not pass this one up.
